Foods That Help in Weight Loss

So this year I’m embarking on a journey to lose just five pounds.  Should be easy, right?

Just five. I’m already very skinny and fit for my size, but I figured I would go the extra mile and find out which foods can assist me in losing even more weight.

So, here’s my findings!

Desire of losing weight is most commonly found in women. Men are also diet-conscious. But Eventually, both of them usually fail at losing weight because they do not know where they are going wrong. They search ways to get smart in two days or a week. That is called crash dieting. Losing too much weight in a week is not healthy. In fact, people should lose 2-3 kg per month.

There are foods that can help you to lose weight.

Apples and Pears

Apples and pears have a lot of anti-oxidants that will help you lose weight and even make you skin better. They are juicy and rich in calories.


Almonds are also helpful in helping you lose weight. If you need to have snacks, then you can simply rely on almonds keeping portions in check. They have fiber and protein and vitamin E that is good for skin hair and nails.


Lentils are eaten by people for centuries. They are nutritional and make your stomach full and do not have any unhealthy components. Lentils are mostly made of protein and fiber. Pulses are also easily digested and better than digesting bread and pasta.

Dark Chocolate

Chocolates are loved by many people since it helps to reduce depression and make them happy. But did you know that dark chocolate can help you lose weight? The actual dark chocolate is not sweet. In fact, it is bitter in taste but it helps you in losing weight. It has fiber and cacao and magnesium that helps in reducing stress and weight.


Lemon has citrus. You can squeeze a lemon in one glass of water and drink it on an empty stomach in the morning. It is used as anti-oxidant and make your metabolism fast. That helps you to digest food in good time. Lemons are healthier for clear skin too.


Usually, people do not like oatmeal. But in the past, oatmeal was one of the greatest foods available. The reason for its greatness is that it can be eaten with milk that provides protein and has calories that can keep your stomach full for hours.


Raspberries are helpful in losing weight. They are low in sugar and high in fiber. Eating berries can give you a satisfaction of having food. They also help you to digest starch in bread.


Usually, we eat popcorn at movies. Did you know that popcorn is a whole grain too? Yes, it can help you to lose weight since it is rich in fiber and protein. It has a pinch of salt and oil that is adequate for your body intake.

Keep in mind that you do not need to overflow that food in your dietary plan. You should select a few of them or select 3-4 food and try them for a week. That will give you a little variety in your diet plan and easily motivated to eat healthy food and lose weight.
